Avoid these cowboys, they will overcharge you and not even fix the problem. Details: I rang JDL Roofing to repair a leak in my flat roof of a loft extension. One of them went up onto the roof and painted some waterproofing material over what I was told were all the joins in the felt. I was then charged £550 for the privilege. I realise now that I should not have mentioned that we were about to go on holiday but this was clearly taken advantage of by these dishonest roofers. The weather was then dry for a number of weeks and so the work couldn't be tested, but as soon as it started raining heavily again the leak came back. Realising that I had probably been scammed, I spoke to another roofer who came round, took a look on the roof and instantly spotted that there was a bit of felt roof flapping around that needed sealing. He quickly sealed this bit of felt with some tar and a blow torch and charged me £100. He confirmed that the JDL Roofing had indeed scammed me as it was so obvious what the problem was causing the leak. The roof has now stopped leaking, no thanks to JDL Roofing. AVOID!
